FoRest Inn is…
…a small but incredibly soulful 70-year-old traditional, earth-built cottage, which we have lovingly restored with our own hands, giving it new life and a modern touch so that you can blend with nature, relax, and completely forget about the world around you.
Proudly standing on its small hill in a forested valley, surrounded only by the solitude of the woods, it is perfectly located in the heart of the vineyard-covered hills of beautiful Međimurje, a proud bearer of the prestigious global ‘Green Destination’ label.
Experience unforgettable moments relaxing in the wood-heated wooden hot tub, either dreaming or enjoying yourself with your favorite company. Your peace may only be disturbed by our frequent and beloved guests… deer, rabbits, and countless birds for whom we have also provided accommodation throughout the property. Although the cottage is synonymous with complete relaxation of body and mind, if you happen to rest too much 😊, explore the property and the surrounding area filled with activities and attractions.
The cottage is small enough (around 50 m²) to be perfect for solo indulgence and self-pampering, yet spacious enough for a comfortable stay for you and your loved one, friends, or children, accommodating up to 4+1 people (a closed bedroom, a bedroom in a semi-open gallery, and a pull-out corner sofa) and, of course, a separate toilet and bathroom.
Besides the wood stove in the living room, each room has an electric heater, and for hot days, you can cool down with air conditioning. All heaters and the air conditioner are equipped with WiFi, making them easy to adjust to your preference, just like the smart lock on the front door, allowing you to enter without keys (password) and ensuring complete privacy. If desired, you can spend your entire holiday without seeing or hearing anyone… though it will be our pleasure to welcome you personally, answer all your questions, and be there for you.

A passionate nature lover with a desire to share the cottage with like-minded people, which was the guiding thread in choosing the location, decorating the interior, and designing the surrounding area.
We aimed to provide you with a holiday experience, emotion through details, and a feeling of home that we ourselves would want to experience on a vacation that everyone deserves.

The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals to enjoy on the spacious terrace covered with old grapevines or relax in the wood-heated wooden hot tub. For added ambiance in the yard, there is a fire pit for barbecues and relaxing evenings by the fire. You also have private parking, your own small hill (2,800 m²) full of plants and fruit trees, and depending on the season, feel free to enjoy delicious untreated fruit.
